Blue Agave Racing supports a wide variety of cycling disciplines and we try to schedule weekly training rides across the area. We also have impromptu training rides on weekends or weekdays posted up by our membership on chat or social media. Come ride with us and see if we’re the team for you.


Mondays: Cactus Cove road ride

Rollout at 6:30 pm

Speed Groups:
A Group: 23-27 mph with sprints in excess of 30 mph
B Group: 20-24 mph with sprints in excess of 25 mph
C Group: 18-20ish mph with NO sprints

People usually stay for food and drinks on the patio at Cactus Cove after the ride.

Tuesdays: Night Mountain Bike Ride, Cypresswood Trails

Location: Trek Bicycle Champions

Must have lights and a helmet!! Friendly, no-drop group night ride!
Gnarwhal, Tortuga, Possum, Rabbit, Cheetah and Ludicrous Speed groups led by experienced trail guides. E
veryone is welcome! All skill levels and all speeds can join in on some epic night time MTB awesomeness!
If you’re a pro, come be a mentor. If you’re a newcomer, come expand your MTB universe. Most of all, just have fun!!

Wednesdays: Katy gravel ride

Wednesday night gravel ride of George Bush Park meets at Cool Cats Cycle at 22140 Westheimer Pkwy, in Katy with wheels rolling at 6:30pm, so bring lights. This ride is a non-denominational ride with a mix of speed levels, Mtb bikes, gravel bikes and all kinds of team and shop affiliations. All welcome!

The ride is typically 20-25 miles and starts together, and then separates naturally by speed. Afterwords, the group usually meets for a small social and refreshments. Lots of fun!

Thursdays: Sugar Land mountain bike ride

The Club rides from Sugar Land Memorial Park (Dog Pawm parking lot) with our bike shop sponsor Pro Bikes Texas Thursdays wheels rolling at 5:30pm bring lights as the full ride often goes into evening. This is generally, Mid-March through end of October.  

Riders do multiple sections of the Brazos River Trails network. It is a drop ride that leave together, and then separate naturally by speed.  Since there are loops with multiple stops, there are opportunities to regroup some of these junctions. Rides are subject to weather, trail status and groups by who shows up from the team.


Saturdays: Kingwood morning road ride

Location: Trek Bicycle Kingwood

Wheels down at 730 AM. 50 mile route usually, with 65 mile options sometimes, stopping midway for a break.

Two groups, A group is typically 22-25mph
B group is 18-20mph
