What’s the deal with Blue Agave Racing?
We are Texas’s largest bicycle racing team, established as an IRS-certified non-profit 501C3 Cycling Race Team in 2016. Our mission is to expand participation and donate to cycling-related charities through competing in recreational and competitive events across a range of disciplines including mountain biking, road cycling, gravel racing, and triathlon. We welcome all members and are governed by an unpaid board of directors.
How do I join the team?
Blue Agave requires the annual purchase of a cycling jersey. This jersey has our sponsor logos on it and helps promote our sponsors which fund the team. Just by a cycling or loose-fitting MTB jersey for $40-$75 and you’re in! Avid racers wanting race reimbursement (free money up to $350 annually) need to also purchase the annual $75 race membership through our online store. We are happy to answer individual questions about membership, just email us.
